Hibiscus and Elderberry Herbal Tea

This refreshing herbal tea is hand blended with all organic ingredients including hibiscus, henbit and calendula flowers, stinging nettle and plantain leaves and dried elderberries. The rich rose color of this tea blend is enhanced by sweet dried elderberries. The combination of the bright fruity flavors of hibiscus, flowery calendula and henbit petals and the slightly earthy flavor of plantain and stinging nettle leaves is a refreshing blend which is as delicious hot as it is iced.  

• Hibiscus flowers are high in phytochemicals, Vitamin C and other antioxidents which can aid in tissue repair, formation of collagen and iron absorption. 
• Plantain leaves are rich in mucilage which may support both lung health and the digestive system. The leaves are also high in vitamins A and C and the compound plantamajoside which can support the immune system in modulating immune response.
• Calendula is a plant also known as a pot marigold. The richly colored orange and yellow flowers are known to have strong antioxidant, anti-inflammatory antiviral, antibacterial and antimicrobial benefits
• Henbit flowers are rich vitamins A, C and K and also in antioxidants which support a variety of body systems and may help reduce the risk of cancer as well as age related conditions including heart disease and stroke. 
• Stinging Nettle leaves contain many nutrients including Vitamins A, C, K and several B vitamins, minerals, polyphenols and other antioxidants which can help defend your cells from free radical damage and reduce inflammation. 
• Dried Elderberries are rich in Vitamin C and compounds anthocyanins and quercetin which are rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties and can be a powerful immune system support.
